The polls gave Jacob a 6% chance of defeating the 10-0 Brazilian Bomber known as Rene Nazare at Bellator 54 but Jacob stunned the crowd with his dominant performance over the undefeated fighter. Keep your eyes open. It's hunting season and Jacob is armed and dangerous!

A Shot at the UFC?

This Saturday, July 16th Jacob Kirwan will be taking on Jimy "The Kid" Hettes to earn a possible contract with the UFC and the number one featherweight status on the East Coast! Jacob has been training hard for this fight. He spent a month at the TAP OUT ranch training with current UFC fighters at Greg Jackson's camp and has had a good training camp at the Clinch Academy ever since. Jacob is confident and well prepared for a fight that will go down in the history books!  

Join the Kirwan Brothers in a wrestling class hosted at the Clinch Academy on Friday nights from 6:30-8 p.m.!
If you are not currently a member of the Clinch Academy you can join them for a $20 mat fee.

Both The Kirwan Brothers Victorious!

Jacob and Joey Kirwan both recently fought in Lou Neglia's Ring of Combat and emerged victorious over two tough opponents. Joey Kirwan defeated Ricardo Almeida Black Belt, Drew Puzon by guillotine submission in the second round. Jacob Kirwan vs. Ryan Vaccaro was the main event of the evening. The warriors were battling it out for the Ring of Combat North American Featherweight Title. Just as his brother started their evening by winning via guillotine choke, Jacob Kirwan also finished the night by submitting his opponent and securing the ROC Featherweight Title via guillotine choke in 86 seconds!
